Let's Begin
Name: Ruth Fudgebutter
Nicknames: Although there may be a couple of nicknames floating here and there, she won't respond to anything other than Ruth. So don't even try, you'll just look like a fool.
"Parents:" Taffyta Muttonfudge and Rancis Fluggerbutter
Gender: Female
"Age:" She says she’s fifteen though she looks much younger than that.
Canon: Wreck it Ralph
Mirror, Mirror
Chloe Grace Mörtez
Appearance: Although this girl may be made up of zeros and ones, Ruth still has some obvious traits between herself and her "parents." The most striking of which would of course would be her hair. Although it's not bleached to a snowy color like Tafftya's locks, it is colored more closely to Rancis' honey colored hair. It even has that wavy texture to it! For the mot part she leaves it loose while going about day to day life at Seacombe, but whenever she really needs to focus like when she's doing homework or playing one of her racing games, she'll pull it back with a dark colored hair tie. Nothing too fancy for this girl. Her eyes a bit of a different story though, they appear to be a hazelish color. Completely unlike both Rancis' and Taffyta's baby blues. They're the only real clues to the fact that her real parents are just a bunch of numbers that can accidentally be screwed with. She likes them though, they set her apart back in Sugar Rush.
Another important thing to note when it comes to this lass' appearance is that she looks much younger than she is. Yes she's fifteen believe it or not, but her face still has that baby like quality that makes people lean towards twelve or thirteen. It also doesn't help that's short for her age as well. It's not her fault though, all the racers from Sugar Rush are little kids so although she's the youngest of them, she's also the oldest because she ages here. If that even makes any sense. It barely works in her own mind. Ruth's voice and body language also shows just how childlike her mind is. Her tone is normally higher pitched than others her age and it can go even higher if she's really excited. As for the way she hold's herself? It's like she's on a permanent Sugar Rush. (No pun intended.) Ruth can never sit still. Her body always has be moving, doing something to focus all this energy on. Foot tapping, pen chewing, finger snapping, she's guilty of it all. Also all bets are off on how she'll get rid of this energy after class is over. Tree climbing, foot races, impromptu gymnastics. If it keeps her moving then she'll do it. Her childish mind is just crazy like that.
Surprisingly though, her clothes aren't the stereotypical childish sort you would expect for a girl with this amount of energy. Ruth doesn't like girlish colors and detests sparkles. So instead of puffy skirts and bows, you'll find this girl for the most part in a pair of comfy jeans as well as a riding jacket she found in the village. Her shirts are average ranging from warm to cold colors with personal favorites tending to stick close to her race car's colors, metallic silver, dark blue, and blood red. You won't ever find her in a dress or skirt though, Ruth hates those gender specific garments. Given the fact that she's constantly running around she wears a pair of old beat up sneakers that may or may not have holes in them. Another thing that you'll always find with Ruth is that she'll always either have a lollipop dangling from her mouth or she'll be chomping away on a piece of gum. She seems to have a never ending supply of the sugary sweets.
Personality: The first thing people notice when they meet this lovely little lass for the first time is quite obviously given the world she comes from, is just how childlike she is. Ruth is giggly, energetic, and has a crazy imagination. This blonde can't be serious to save her life, unless of course she wants to be serious. You know like a toddler demanding to know what the adults are talking about, if it isn't important to her then she'll barely pay attention to you. Not that she doesn't care, because most of the time it turns out that she does, but she can't focus. It's like she has ADHD caused by all the sugar she consumes. She also clearly can't sit still. She'll try in class, but it's clear by one glance at the door or window, she would much rather be outside. The only time she can sit still however is when she's in the lounge playing her racing games. She can sit through that no problem. Finally you'll have to take everything she says with a grain of salt. She tends to tell lies in order to keep her own skin safe, and they'll slip out over things that don't really matter. (It also doesn't hurt that the villain support gig is starting to rub off on her.) Not that doesn't make her trustworthy, like any other ten year old, which is basically the age her mind is programmed to be, she is incredibly loyal to the people she cares about in her life. That's why she refuses to see Tafftya in a bad light. Sure she's mad at the Queen Bee, but she'll stand by her side because isn't that what friends are for?
However as any parent would tell you, kids aren't all sunshine and rainbows. Ruth can have a nasty temper if things don't go her way. Just like Tafftya she'll scream, cry and carry on until she gets what she wants. Or she'll just pout and give you the silent treatment for quite a while need be. Which could happen often thanks to the fact as a video game character living in a world of cotton candy clouds and peppermint trees, she's kind of used to getting what she wants. So basically she's also a spoiled brat. Oh joy. She's also insensitive to others around her, always demanding that her needs be met with first and she somehow deserves all the nice things. She claims it's because she's younger than everyone else, but still she's not a princess. Heck even the legit princesses don't act like this selfish girl. Ruth is also extremely competitive, turning anything and everything into a contest. It's just a side effect from her only known purpose in life which is racing cars. Which is a nasty one when she loses because she can and will throw the mother of all temper tantrums.
Despite this however she can be a good person to be around if you don't get on her bad side. Like Rancis she cares about her friends, always doing what she believes to be the right thing although she may be completely wrong at times. Ruth is also very determined, if she starts a project she'll see it through so always hope she ends up as your lab buddy. She also has that ability to make anyone laugh, unless of course their heart is an impenetrable block of stone and ice. That doesn't mean she won't try though. Last, but not least since she is technically a glitch, because she was never originally a part of the game, there is moments where this girl will either freeze unexpectedly or will twitch. It's not that big of a concern though. After all it's just a tiny problem with her coding, it's not that big of a deal.

Look into the Past
History: Everyone knows that the disney universe has some strange circumstances surrounding birth. Curses placed upon unsuspecting newborns, orphans made from heroes, or even being raised in the wild are just a handful of fates to befall some of our favorite characters. However Ruth is a bit different from all of these unusual ways of becoming a part of this world, since after all Ruth wasn’t born. She was built. You see the reality she comes from is virtual reality, a land of videogames where no one is born everyone and everything is made from piles upon piles of code. Which is how Ruth’s story begins.
After order was restored to Sugar Rush, for the most part everything returned to the way it was before the 30th anniversary of Fix it Felix Jr, with of course the exceptions made clear at the end of the tale, however one thing didn’t change too often: the random roster list for everyone’s favorite cavity ridden racing game. True it was supposed to be random, but the winners became all too predictable given everyone’s skill levels. Players were growing bored tired of the same racers, cars, and power-ups. They wanted something different being this century’s impulsive kids. Sugar Rush’s popularity began to decline and rumors began to circulate that the game’s plug would be pulled if the trend continued. The racers and citizens were growing desperate.
Something had to be done and it had to be done fast.
Soon an idea began to spread from ear to ear, no one knows who started it, but soon everyone was convinced that the only solution to this problem would be to build more racers using the other racers as code bases. It was risky of course, something could go horribly wrong, but given the fear and panic that only was comparable to someone shouting in the middle of Game Central Station “I’m going Turbo!” it was their best option. Everyone was on board with the idea, not only could it possibly attract players once more to the game, but it would be fun to have a new racer to cheer on and a new face in a sea of sugary treats. Everyone that is except for our little princess without a crown: Tafftya Muttonfudge. She didn’t want a new racer since that meant there would be more competition and she was quite happy being number one at practically everything. However she couldn’t find many allies in this cause, figuring since only Sour Pill seemed to be reluctant with this plan. So with overwhelming support, this radical plan was approve, a new racer for sugar rush would be built.
Vanellope and Rancis, who were in charge of this plan, enlisted the help of Felix in order to edit the code because if anything went wrong, the handy man would able to fix it. (That’s the name of the game after all.) After inspecting all the racers codes, it appeared that Rancis’ information would be the easiest to edit so his code was copied carefully into the new character’s slot which was already decided to be named Ruth by Sugar Rush citizens --you know after the candy bar Baby Ruth-- then carefully, Felix went to work fixing the data so the new racer would be her own character. Felix also spliced in other personality traits from other characters, Vanellope’s spunkiness, Candlehead’s loyalty, and Tafftya’s determination also went into the girl’s programming. When Felix left the code vault, there was no longer just two racers in the room, There were three, Ruth Fluggerbutter was now a part of Sugar Rush.
Despite Felix’s best efforts while messing with the racers' code, Ruth still became a glitch since she was never intended to be a part of the game. It wasn’t as bad as Vanellope, and for the most part her glitch wasn’t noticed unless of course someone else touched her or made her really angry. However everyone looked past the temper tantrums and frozen moments. She was the new thing all the players had been asking for and she had something of everyone in her, so she was well liked in the early stages of her racing days. It didn’t take her too long to learn how to race either, and soon she was earning a regular spot on the random roster race. She also loved racing as well, it was in her code after all. Day and night Ruth could be found on the track challenging other racers to friendly competitions, never getting too upset if she won or lost always laughing it off and having another go regardless of the outcome. It was all fun and games to the child after all. However much to Taffyta’s irritation, she had been right. Little Ruth was appearing to be a threat. Yet there was nothing the self-appointed Queen Bee could do. So her childish antics were tolerated.
That is until Ruth beat Tafftya in the Random Roster race. Being bested by a glitch? That was too much for Taffyta to bear, something had to be done about this little cybug in her side. At first she planned to sabotage Ruth’s race the next day somehow, but she realized that would only be a short term solution and it would land her in the fungeon, so she waited for a new idea to present itself. It took some time, but it did happen. Somehow Tafftya got wind of Seacombe Halpworth and realizing that this was an opportunity to be rid of the little twerp for good, she registered the new racer for the school, lying about practically everything to just be rid of Ruth, Which of course included Tafftya being her “mother” only so she could technically fill out the forms. When Tafftya signed the final paper, it was legal and binding. Sugar Rush’s ticket to more players would be sent off into the real world all because one racer didn’t want to share the spotlight.
Of course when the time came for her to go, Ruth wanted to stay, but at the same time she realized this would be the only chance for her to leave Sugar Rush thanks to her being a glitch. So she went with little protest, fully convinced that Taffyta was only meaning well for the racer. Since after all Taffyta claimed that this place was a special racing school, which of course was bull roar, and Ruth is still upset about that, but she accepted the change. After all what other choice did she have? It wasn't like she pack up and go home. She's also a little fustrated with the fact that thanks to Tafftya signing her up and claiming to be a legal guardian she's been assigned as a Villain's sidekick, and has been trying to change her role to hero sidekick similar to her "father's" role, but that hasn't happened yet. So that may be growing on her too, but she'll never admit it. Ruth doesn't want to be known as someone who's like Turbo. Beyond that though, she think's this place is great.
Even though it would be better if it had a racetrack.

Tell us a Story
According to the teachers, Ruth was a villain's sidekick.
Ruth didn't want to be anyone's sidekick, all she wanted to be was a racer. Yet somehow she was here at Seacombe Halpworth being instructed on how to be helpfully sarcastic. Like she was ever going to need that skill. The racers didn't have sarcasm, they had candy themed puns. Not that anyone cared, they seemed so intent of shoving Ruth into their little molds, making sure she turned out just like her parents even though she wasn't even technically related to them. She was only based off of Rancis and Tafftya. Felix took parts of their codes to make her own along with some of the others like Vanellope, Candlehead, and all of the others. This school also didn't seem to care that everyone turned out to be good all along. They were just a bunch of children for goodness sake. You can't really expect them to make good decisions.
Ruth rested her head on the desk as she faced towards the window, which gave a spectacular view of the forest. Oh how would she love to be a little monkey jumping from branch to branch once again. Though it wasn't quite as fun since there wasn't the added jeopardy of the double stripes, but a tree was a tree wasn't it? If she closed her eyes she could just almost imagine being back home in the peppermint tree forest with her friends. Almost, but not quite.
Without thinking, Ruth snapped the piece of gum in her mouth. Big mistake. The old crone at the front of the room immediately turned around and peered through her coke bottle glasses at the room of trouble makers. The sidekicks were a seedy group. They were that group you instinctively kept your kids away from. They were also the group that caused the most trouble, not Ruth though, and so they got the worst teachers. Nobody else wanted to deal with them. In a not so grandmotherly voice the teacher demanded to know who had dared to chew gum in her classroom. (Since after all it "rotted your teeth.")
In true sidekick fashion, a high pitched voice that had that obviously male quality to it, oh poor fool he hadn't even hit puberty yet, ratted Ruth out. Before she could even hid the outlawed treat under her tongue, the crone called her up to the front and demanded she spit it out. Shooting the pizza faced kid the dagger eyes, Ruth stood up from the creaky seat and made it to the front of the room where the kid had enough sense to mutter an apology just loud enough for the blonde to hear.
"Like fun you are." Ruth said bitterly in response before she spat out the pink wad into the trash much to the crone's joy. On her way back to her seat however, the fifteen year old popped another little square into her mouth and began to chomp once more.
One hour, nineteen minutes and fifty-tree seconds left. Oh joy.
