Name: Rose
Nickname/Other names: Her darling parents have lots of sweet little terms of endearment for her, do they count?
Parent(s): Prince Philip and Princess Aurora
Gender: Female
Age: 15
Canon: Sleeping Beauty

Mirror, Mirror
Face Claim/PB
[Aimee Teegarden]
Appearance: Rose is the epitome of the perfect princess, and most of your flowery metaphors apply here. She is petite with long, flowing, golden locks, eyes as blue as the clearest sky and lips as red as her namesake. She holds herself perfectly erect, her chin slightly lifted and her hands often clasped. Grace and beauty in its purest form.
She always wears the most beautiful dresses of all the finest materials, and has quite a collection of expensive jewellery (including a tiara), and dainty shoes.
Personality:
Rose is very sweet, and kind to everyone whether they be prince or pauper, taught to be so by her mother after the modest upbringing meant to keep her safe. Still, she never forgets her station.
She has a strong spirit but a weak constitution, and anything frightening or shocking is likely to make her gasp, cry, or even faint. She’s a dreamer and often has her head in the clouds, and if you want her undivided attention you need only tell her a story and she will listen enraptured.
Unlike most ladies Rose never learned to do needlepoint (she has an extreme fear of needles), but she sings beautifully, dances gracefully, and is very talented with the harp.
She is a stickler for the rules, never does what she is told not to do, and is always respectful.
Above all Rose believes in destiny, true love, and that good will always conquer evil.

Look into the Past
History: Rose was born the first and only child to Prince Philip and Princess Aurora, and her life has been nothing if not charmed.
Growing up she was a well behaved child, beautiful as her mother and fanciful as her father, and the entire kingdom adored her, but none moreso than the three fairies that had raised her mother in her youth. They spent much time with the child, who never failed to beg from them the stories of her parents, and no matter how often she heard of the curse, the dragon or true love’s kiss she never grew tired of them.
At the age of twelve Rose was told she would be attending Seacombe Halpworth academy, and while she was sad to leave her family and kingdom behind, she was excited at the prospect of her own destiny and was willing to do whatever it took to make sure her life took the quickest, simplest route to her Happily Ever After.
At the Academy she made friends easily with the other princesses, treated the servants and sidekicks with the utmost kindness, excelled at all of her subjects and was pretty much the ideal student. Everything was going her way, everything was perfect, and she knew that one day her true love would find her and all would be well.

RP Sample: “And then I said why, True Love, of course!, and Madame Honeysmith exclaimed that I was correct and smiled at me, but it really was a silly question. Everyone knows that!” Rose spoke, giggling at the very idea of it. The family of squirrels she was relating the story to seemed to find it just as funny and chattered along with her.
“But did you know,” she continued, lowering her voice and leaning in as if to divulge a secret. The squirrels leaned closer. “There is a girl in my class that... oh, it’s impossible to even think it... but she does not believe in true love!” The squirrels gasped, horrified, and one of them even fell over dramatically. “I know! How can anyone, especially a princess, not believe in true love?”
One of the squirrels seemed to think hard about this before chattering loudly. Rose pursed her lips before nodding slowly. “Perhaps you are right. Perhaps her story requires she not believe until it is proven to her. Oh, could you imagine it? The world would be so dark and dreary until, suddenly, a prince appears on his strong stead and saves her from an evil witch and carries her away into the bright sunset...”
Rose lapsed into a dreamy silence, her hands clasped under her chin as she imagined the entire scene. One day that would be her. Not the part with the dark world and the not believing, but one day her dreams would come true. “And it will be wonderful.”
