Appearance: She tends to slouch unless she feels threatened. She has short horns that she either hides under a hat or her hair. She always has at least one wand on her, if not 3, or 10. She tends to wear baggy clothes in order to hide her thin frame. She inherited her mother’s pale skin, and burns, no fry’s easily.
As a lizard, which she only appears at if she feels seriously in danger, she is plump and short, by lizard standards looking. Unlike most of her species, the horned lizards, she is mainly black with purple and cream diamond patterns on her back. This form is rarely seen, as she only uses it in situations of life or death.
Personality: She seems angry a lot, but in reality, she is just lonely and confused. Though she does harbor a true hatred for princes, one did kill her mother after all. She’s quick to fight, but only if she feels threatened (And considering who she’s now in school with, that may be frequent). She prefers her books, and, when given a choice, will stay in a corner on her own to read. She’s actually a fairly kind person when you get to know her, but after her mother’s death she found that anger and sourness got her farther than being kind. This has caused her to be a frank person, she tends to say things as they are, as soon as she sees them. This further frustrates her, but she’ll be thrice damned before she admits that. Because of her natural proficiency with magic, she tends to look down her nose at others. This is actually a safety mechanism, not allowing people who may not understand her to get too close.
So to sum it up she’s a girl with a cold, often hurtful exterior, but a soft, scared insecure interior.
She severely enjoys messing with people in little ways, but in moments where she’s perfectly honest with herself, she knows it’s just a desperate plea for attention. Unlike her mother, she has no wish to rule, but she does like to make others look stupid.
Powers: Like her mother, she can use spells and magic with a wand or staff (She prefers a staff) She is depressed to note she can turn into an Horned Lizard. She can curse things, but it takes a lot of energy and emotion to create.

Look into the Past
History: Born three years after Aurora, she lived with her mother. They lived in the forest, actually not that far from where Aurora herself grew up. Her mother thought her magic, and despite what you may expect, was a loving mother. Her mother filled their home with books on magic, math, languages and thousands of other things that Joss never actually got around to reading. SHe would spend hours in the woods with her mother and learn to read nature. Because of this, she never really interacted with people.
When she was eleven she saw a knight and his squire go through the forest. She followed them until the sunset. She watched them make camp, but didn’t know her mother was following her, as she had been away longer than her normal walks in the woods. Her mom tried to curse the knight and the squier, but Joss retaliated with her own. The squier died, and the knight was turned into a frog (Not the prince). Because of this, Joss, though she still loved her mother, became even more wary of others, as she hated fighting with her mother (The house almost burned down)
She saw Aurora in the woods numerous times, and was always jealous of her, especially when she saw her and the prince. Other than her slight envy --different from jealousy-- of Aurora, she had a relatively happy life, until the age of thirteen, when her mother froze her in a curse , a powerful spell based on emotions, to keep her safe while she finished dispatching Aurora. Her mother swore to her that she would be back to free her once she ruled. Slowly, her own magic melted away the curse. She woke up two years ago to find her mother was dead and she hadn’t aged. The last 3 years she roamed, not really knowing what to do She spent most of the first year swearing revenge on Aurora, but gave it up, she didn’t have it in her to hold the anger for so long. and she realized that she couldn’t really blame her. Her mother tried to kill her after all. After that, she just kind of drifted.
She was found by a man, who claimed to be her uncle, who enrolled her (Against her will, to a point) in this school. Before coming here she spent all of 2 weeks with him in his castle, a small thing barely befitting the noble he claimed to be. During her 2 weeks there, she learned how to hate being with others, as he constantly asked of her mother.

RP Sample: She gave a sharp glare to the group of talking teens. She stifled small laugh as she flicked her wand and one flinched, raising an eyebrow at the person beside him. She scooted closer and listened to them. Ugh, silly humans and their silly problems. She listened intently as they talked. Even if it was mundane and silly, it was fun to listen to.
“Hey!” One of the group turned around. She cursed softly and glared up at the girl.
“Were you listening to us?” She forced a smirk on to her face.
“AS if.” She snapped her book shut, using her wand as a bookmark and stood, cursing as she tripped over her own feet. The girl grabbed her arm to steady her.
“You ok?” Josslen realized the other was touching her and yanked her arm out of the other girl’s grasp.
“FIne,” She growled and stomped off.
She found another spot to sit, under a tree in the gardens. She opened her book and returned to her reading, well not really, as her latest ‘social group’ had left her, she may as well find a new one.

Tell us a Little About Yourself!: I may disappear for extended time periods, especially during the school year, just an fyi. In person I am jumpy and flamboyant, online I think I still am, but it’s dulled and diluted by my tendency be a bit more finicky with what I say online. I can over use exclamation points, a lot!!!!!!! And I use the word fabulous. I’m both a slow typer and horrible speller, so my apologies ahead of time.
