Face Claim/PB
[Miura Haruma]
Appearance: Amir blends in with everyone else in his homeland, with his white hair and dark skin he looks just like his mother. Like all Atlanteans he keeps his crystal around his neck at all times, either under or over his shirt. Down in Atlantis, he wears typical male clothing, tunics. In the upper world, however, he tries for a ‘casual’ look, such as jeans and long-sleeved shirts, he often finds it two cold for tee-shirts. He also has two anklets which he wears on his left foot and two bracelets, which he wears on he wears on his right.
Being born the heir of the throne he was taught early on good posture, and carries himself like he was taught. Head up, back straight, shoulders back. That is... most of the time. When by himself, or among close friends and family, Amir often slouches.
Amir speaks with a heavy accent, that sounds British, German, and French all at the same time. When people ask he says it's Atlantean, after all, it is. He is fluent in English because of his crystal, as well as every other language in the world, reason being, Atlantean is a mother language. Without his crystal however, he cannot speak any language other than Atlantean. He also cannot read or write anything other than Atlantean. He is working on changing that though.
Personality: Amir may look like his mother, but his personality is nothing like hers, instead, it is mostly like his fathers. He is a bookworm, who just can’t seem to be able to put his books down. However, unlike Milo, he has a hard time absorbing what he's reading. The basic idea is not lost to him, but the more complicated stuff requires a reread. Amir believes that he’s always right and he has trouble making compromises. He is extremely curious about almost everything, but what he is most interested in, is the 'upper world,' and when he was younger Amir spent countless hours, questioning his father on the subject.
Also unlike Milo, Amir is very serious, except on rare occasions where he finds himself laughing with his siblings, such as during Nipivuyabakun, a celebration not unlike our Christmas, only they are celebrating the founding of Atlantis. He is however, very susceptible to pranks, which is something his siblings loved taking advantage of when they were younger. Amir also heartily believes in following the rules.
Among the council, Amir is quite popular, not only does he follow the rules, he also contributes where he can, to translating the old writings. Among his family, he is also loved, by both his mother and his father, though sometimes he holds doubts for the legitimacy of his siblings love. Though he is a bit of a loner, Amir does have his friends, and he puts out time to hang out with them, however, his group of friends is pretty small, as he is a intervert.
Powers: Nothing but a crystal that glows in the dark, allows him to speak fluently in every language, is attracted to the heart of Atlantis, and can heal all wounds, provided you aren't seen as a threat by the crystal. It also extends your lifespan, by thousands of years. However, this power only applies within Atlantis.

Look into the Past
History: Amir was born the eldest of three children, to the leaders of Atlantis, Milo and Kida. Ever since he was little, he was curious about the world around him. Asking questions constantly, which his parents answered willingly. Then, one day when he was five, his parents friends from the upper world came to visit. From that moment on, Amir rarely asked questions concerning Atlantis, learning about it in books, instead. Now, all questions he asked were about the upper world. His parents tried to regain his interest in Atlantis, but though it increased, it never peaked and never uprooted his curiosity in the upper world.
When he was about ten, his siblings (8 and 9) began to take an interest in sports. At first he participated, since they dragged him along anyway, but he didn’t really like it, and so sat on the bench reading whatever book he was reading. At fourteen, his younger brother Danny got to go to where Amir dreamed he could. The upper world.
Now, while this seemed a reward to curious Amir, this was a punishment of sorts for Danny. So, while Amir was jealous of his brother, he was also happy for him. Just before Danny left, Amir pulled him aside to congratulate him, which may have created an unintentional rift between them.
A year after this, Amir heard that Danny was being sent to a safe boarding school in the upper world. He then began to convince his parents to let him go, and when he was sixteen, they agreed, hoping that he would see that the upper world really wasn’t as cool as it sounded.

Tell us a Story
RP Sample: Amir’s hands flew up to cover his eyes, the upperworld was so much brighter than he had expected. Slowly he lowered his hand from his face and opened his protesting eyes. It was more amazing then he could ever had imagined, the trees towered above him, like giant rock pillars, only... alive, and moving. In awe, he stepped towards a nearby tree... and fell flat on his face; he stepped in a gopher hole. Of course, Amir had no idea what this was and at first looked down into it in wonder, then began to laugh, “Well, what do you know? There are holes in the upper world!” Then getting up he carefully made his way over to the tree, put his right hand on the trunk, and looked up into the branches. “Wow." He breathed, amazed that something alive could be that big.
Screams of laughter came from the direction of the school and Amir’s head snapped towards it. In the excitement of being in the upper world, he had completely forgotten about the school. Smiling he started to head towards it, he had so much to do. For one, he needed to find his brother, Danny.
