Hi guys!
The time is here, the whole site has been updated, tidied up and is ready to get moving with new content and new people, and this is where you guys come in!
In order to get SH on the map and attract some wonderful new friends, we're going to need to ADVERTISE ADVERTISE ADVERTISE, and to do that I need your help!
For the next two weeks we're going to have a little competition, the prize of which is TBA but will probably be some snazzy graphics/banners from myself and maybe something else if I can think of something good, you have up until Friday 20th May to build up points, and the person with the most points at the end will be the winner.
So how do I get points?
- For every ad you post on another site, you get ONE POINT
- For every in character post you make on the forum, you get ONE POINT
Nice and simple, easy to count.
How are they counted?
You'll be responsible for keeping track of your own points, if you want to join in please reply to this post and you can use that reply to keep a tally of your points. To prevent cheating, please drop links to your ads at the end of your post, you do not need to link to threads as they will be visible on the board already.
Your tracker post should end up looking something like this;

Advertising Tips/Rules
Ways of advertising
- Responding to 'first posts' on our advertising board (once you have responded to one of these, please lock the thread or ask a staff member to so that we don't get multiples. Ensure you are posting in the site's 'tag back' board and following their advertising rules)
- Checking the advertising board on proboards support etc and advertising there (PLEASE do a quick scan to ensure we have not already advertised there, I don't want to spam people)
I'll be bumping the ad on support and messaging people on the 'rp wanted' thread because it's too easy to end up with multiples if lots of people are doing that.
If you know of any other places to advertise, directory boards and the like, please feel free and go nuts! The more advertising the better! Just remember to be polite, respectful and obey other people's rules. DO NOT advertise in anybody's Cbox, almost all sites do not allow this.
