Gage Golightly
Appearance: Back in the underworld, Aristeides took a great deal after her father, with deathly pale skin and flowing locks of blue fire, it was just lucky that she also inherited her mother's good looks to go with her father's colouring. Flaming hair doesn't exactly go down too well in the 'normal' world, so upon arriving at SH she found she looked a little more, well, human.
Her hair is still blue (and whether it's naturally like that or she dyes it, she'll never reveal) and she keeps it long and flowing, it's easier to catch the attention of impressionable boys with a hair flick that way, and her skin is not quite so grey, though it's still quite pale. Her eyes are a much more ordinary amber, though they still have a somewhat piercing quality to them.
She takes incredibly good care of herself, knowing the importance of image when it comes to manipulating people, and also just generally staying healthy. She is slim, but it's almost entirely muscle, so her build would probably more be described as 'athletic' than 'skinny'. She doesn't really bother with an over-abundance of makeup, relying on her natural looks with only the minimum of enhancement. Clothing wise, she favours flowing, comfortable clothing that's quite often grecian in style, though generally cut a bit shorter than you might expect for ease of running and working out. She prefers flat sandals or being barefoot, but will sometimes wear heels if she's dressing up for something fancy.
Personality: On the surface, Aristeides is coldly charming, sweet and polite to anybody she deems good enough for her attention, and contemptuously dismissive of everybody else. Her facade is carefully constructed, designed specifically to make everybody want to be one of the elite on her good side. There's very few people she's outright cruel to, most people just get ignored as beneath her notice, and she can seem to be genuinely nice to those closest to her.
In reality, she's pretty contemptuous of, well, everybody. She views most people as beneath her and ultimately distrusts everybody - it's part arrogance and part paranoia, the idea that she's better than everyone warring with the idea that nobody really likes her. She's bitter and cynical and generally expects everybody to be out for themselves just as much as she is, and views people being genuinely caring and helpful as either the ultimate weakness or just a very cleverly hidden ulterior motive.
At times, her temper can be as bad as her father's, but she does her best to make sure she's alone before she really lets it explode. There's more than a few broken plates and cups she's had to sweep up from her dorm room over the years, and plenty of punching bags that have been on the receiving end of a fairly brutal beating. It's very rare that she'll allow herself to be caught in these outbursts, as she knows how damaging it can be to her current reputation.

Look into the Past
History: Anything you can do, I can do better - if Zeus had a son, well then, Hades was going to have... a daughter. Okay, so it was a son he'd been planning on, but generally speaking he got on with women better anyway, and as long as she was better than Hercules that was all that mattered - that's why her name literally means 'best'. (Okay, so it was a boy's name, he'd planned that before she was even born, but it was too good to just throw away).
Life was strange, one minutes Hades would be completely doting on her, the next he was pushing her to be faster, stronger, better. She showed a talent for the manipulative that he highly approved of, but it didn't stop him from demanding more physical prowess as well. Between that switch and his violent temper, childhood left Aristeides very much on her toes.
Always one to keep his secrets to himself, it was only natural that he would want to keep Aristeides out of sight so the gods couldn't watch her progress. He had tried, at first, to keep her very existence a secret, but the 'family' were a nosy bunch, even when it cames to Hades' affairs (especially when it came to Hades' affairs after the whole Hercules drama), and it wasn't long before she was discovered - after that, of course, they were constantly making up excuses to check up on her (and occasionally to encourage her to 'be good'), which only caused Hades to become more irritable. Eventually, he struck upon a golden idea - he would send her away, somewhere they couldn't see. The perfect place presented itself, Seacombe Halpworth Academy. It suited his needs to the letter - it was somewhere the gods wouldn't watch her, and somewhere she could continue to train in everything she needed to know in order to come home and help daddy dearest take over the world. As soon as she was old enough, away she went.
Being out from under Hades' thumb was liberating, but she'd spent so many years training to be the best and honing all her skills that she was at a loss for how to rebel, it was all she'd ever known. For her first couple of years she followed her routines exactly as they had always been, training hard and mostly avoiding people - sure she occasionally tried out her skills in manipulation and, well, meanness, but most of the time she kept to herself. She wasn't exactly used to being around the living that much.
When she was around 14, she started coming out of her shell a little, realising she didn't have to be quite so strict with her training when Hades wasn't watching over her shoulder, and maybe it was time to work on her social skills. Convincing idiots to do her bidding with a bat of her eyelashes was easy enough, but there were some smart heroes out there who needed something a little more sophisticated. Not to mention, she needed practice for taking over the world, so how about taking over the school first?
For the past two years she's been perfecting her rule, being sweet to the people she needed to be sweet to (oh, I'm so sorry I was so mean to you last year, I just wasn't used to being around so many people, won't you forgive me?) and just mean enough to the ones who deserved her contempt. She buttered up the teachers, flirted with all the boys and generally worked to become queen of the school.

Tell us a Story
RP Sample: "Just excuse me a moment, won't you? Thank you so much," Aristeides smiled politely, waving a hand to encourage her friends to continue on without her before darting away, practically marching up to the dorms. Everybody she passed got a quick, tight smile and the distinct impression that she was in a hurry - well, those that she felt deserved anything other than her completely ignoring them anyway.
She reached her dorm room, glanced around to check her roommate wasn't in and locked the door behind her. Then, and only then, did she allow the bottled up emotion to flow out. If she'd been at home, her hair would have burst into orange flames, instead she grabbed a nearby glass and hurled it full-force at the opposite wall.
"THAT TOTAL UTTER MORON," she yelled, "HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO BE THAT STUPID!?" her shouting devolved into ranting in Greek, a second glass and a plate following her first projectile as she stomped around the room.
After a few minutes, she stopped, closed her eyes and counted slowly to ten. She carefully cleaned up and threw out the shattered remains of glass and crockery, smoothed her hands through her hair and took a deep breath. Calm again, she unlocked the door and left the room as if nothing had happened, heading back downstairs and jogging to catch up with her friends with her smile back in place.
"Sorry about that, just had to take care of something, now, what were you saying?"
