Student Clubs

Students are allowed to start clubs for any sports, activities or causes they might wish to - as long as they follow the academy rules for such things.

In order to start a club, there needs to be at least three members - president, secretary and one member. Students can talk to friends and get them involved right from the beginning, or they can post up an appeal to fellow students for somebody to join their club.
Find below established clubs and pending clubs - an established club will lapse back into pending if they dip below three members.

To join a club

Simply post your character name and the clubs they'd wish to join.
If a club is missing a committee member, please also state if they'd wish to take this position or be a regular member.
Your name will be added to the club list - if a club is pending and you are only the second member, the club will remain pending until a third member is found (however, feel free to roleplay the search if you want!)

To start a club

Post the following in code;

Fill in as many slots as you have characters for (you can have discussed this ic or ooc previously to fill the three required slots) and your club will be added to the established or pending club list. If the club contravenes school policy, however, prepare for IC retribution from the council.
If you don't have all the slots full, you can still submit a club and hope that other members join it, however ICly the club won't exist until it has three members - though, again, you are welcome to roleplay your search.
The pending club list will, ICly, be considered to be posted on a noticeboard in the courtyard for anybody to join.
